Alright, alright, alright..I am the world's worst blogger.
I honestly thought I would have more time than this during the weeks and weekends, but I hardly have time to do homework and skype with friends and family, let alone keep this up. Bahh!
So I promise that I will post a more comprehensive update later, but for now I figure that this will have to do--as it's almost dinner time. (: So these past two months have been incredibly challenging. I have been tested and tried and grown by God so much in these past weeks and have been through things I never would have expected with God. It's been amazing and incredibly hard at the same time. It's crazy now to look at where I was before coming here and where I am now; I thought I knew so much, but it makes me laugh now that I realize just how little I really know about God. But I'm learning heaps more! And that's what's so fully rad.
Also I figure it might interest you to know where I'm going for my outreach..am I right? Thought so.
So we just found out that we are going to be split into three different teams. One team is going to Melbourne, Australia and Taumranui, New Zealand, while the other two teams are going to different parts of Papua New Guinea (Port Moresby and Mount Hagen). I am going on one of the teams headed to PNG!
So I was wondering if you could all partner with me in prayer? My teammates are Ashley, Taelyn, Cheyenne, Talea, Courtenay, and Johno. If you could be praying for all of us that would be rad as! Also if you could be praying for my funding to come through, that would be amazing! We need approximately $3,500 for our outreach fees. I find out sometime this week how much more I need to raise, so I will update this post then. We are looking at our departure date being the 3rd of October, so it's coming up fast!
Anyway, I gotta run for dinner..or I won't get a seat! Also I have a Words With Friends match to play with one of my friends. (;
God bless you guys!
